Reise grew out of a straightforward wish: take a carefully prepared trip plan along without having to hunt through documents on a phone.
The Munich edition brings that idea into a native Android app. The same approach can be adapted for another destination, with its own content, photos, and look.
One app for one journey
Each trip is a self-contained app. Its plan is prepared in advance, so you open directly into the journey you are taking.
Ready when reception isn’t
Saved content and images work offline. You can read about a stop or check the next part of the day without waiting for a page to load.
No account to get in the way
The app has no sign-in and does not track your location. You choose when to open a place or route in an external map app.

Is Reise only for Munich?
No. Munich is the current Android edition shown here. The approach is designed to be adapted into separate apps for other trips, with their own days, places, images, and colours.
Can I create or edit a trip inside the app?
The current app presents a trip that has been prepared in advance. It does not include an in-app itinerary editor or automatic trip planning. A new trip is prepared as its own edition.
What works offline?
The day plans, place catalogue, descriptions, and bundled photos are available without a connection. External map routes, navigation, and linked websites need internet access.
Which phones and languages are supported?
The current native app runs on Android 8.0 and newer. The Munich edition shown in the screenshots uses German. Other editions can be prepared with different content and wording.
Does it book things or follow my location?
No. Reise keeps prepared plans and information in one place. It does not make reservations, take payments, or track your location. Navigation opens in an external map app when you choose a map link.
Can I download it?
Reise is currently a personal project, shared privately for individual trips. There is no public app download on this site.
